instructions

1.Remove the cushion from the cushion cover and cut a strip of floral fabric to fit the length of the cushion. Approx width of the strip of fabric 12cm.

2. Iron on bondaweb to the back of the strip of fabric and place fabric onto the left hand side of the cushion cover.

3. Turn ends of fabric strip under neatly and iron strip down onto the cushion cover.

4. To hide the raw edges of the length of the strip of fabric cut a length of the pink and blue ribbon.

5. Again attach a very thin strip of bondaweb to the back of the ribbon and iron onto the cushion cover to hide raw edges of the fabric strip.

6. Crochet a circle shape using pink washed haze and repeat the process using the cream.

7. Crochet two green circles from the cotton yarn just smaller than the previous ones.

8. Cut two circles of fabric and cover the metal buttons following the manufacturer’s instructions.

9. Add detail to the buttons with anchor threads and diamante rhinestones.

10. Layer the crochet circles so that the largest (washed haze) is at the bottom, then the green cotton circle and finally the covered buttoned on top. Stitch the crochet circles and buttons together.

11. Stitch the two crochet/button decorations to the cushion cover – to finish place the cushion back inside the cover.
