The loveable Forever Friends character celebrates its 21st birthday this year, with the first image of the bear appearing on a card back in 1986. 

Forever Friends has always been popular with cross stitchers of all ages and abilities since its initial introduction by Coats Crafts UK in 1995.  Ever since, the collection has gone from strength to strength and remains as one of Anchors leading licenses.

With currently 23 designs in the collection, Anchor has just launched a fabulous new limited edition 100% wool latch hook rug to continue the birthday celebrations.

Other Forever Friends kits include the more traditional designs such as 'washing day' and 'hearts and roses' to the increasingly popular occasions based designs such as 'on your retirement' and 'birth record'.
