Using the ruler and pencil, mark five evenly placed points along the edge of one side of each sheet of the pack of Creative by Nature 3D white 12" x 12" Hand made Mulberry Paper. Use these marks to punch holes.
Following the instructions in the manual provided for your sewing machine, drop the feed dogs and fit a foot appropriate for free machine embroidery.
Using the pencil, faintly write the name of the baby centrally at the top of the front cover and the date of birth to the right hand side of the bottom of the front cover.
Using free machine embroidery and the Pink 1047 Anchor Alcazar machine embroidery thread, stitch the baby's name and date of birth.
Using the PVA glue, stick the Creative by Nature Pink Butterfly Mulberry Paper Die-Cuts either side and below the baby's name.
Using Freestyle Machine Embroidery, stitch the Creative by Nature Pink Hearts Mulberry Paper Die-Cuts centrally on the front cover.
Using the PVA gluetogether with the Creative by Nature' Copper Rubber Tree Leaves and two of the Coats Crafts UK 'Creative by Nature' Sunflower Yellow 3D Mulberry Paper Embellishments. Leaving flat, allow to dry.
Cut the Coats Crafts UK 'Creative by Nature' Pink Mulberry Paper Ribbon to 100 cm length and then cut in half lengthways.
Place all pages of the book together with all the punched holes to the same side. Start to thread the ribbon through the hole at the top working from the front and leaving 63 cm of ribbon free at the front. Thread the ribbon front to back all the way down finishing at the back, make a knot in the ribbon as close to the back of the book as possible and trim.
Using the Starch, carefully spray the ribbon left at the front of the book and then starting at the bottom, wind the ribbon around the pencil. Leaving flat, allow to dry. When dry, remove the pencil and the ribbon will be left with a curl in it.
Using the PVA glue, stick the two Coats Crafts UK 'Creative by Nature' Maple Leaf 3D Mulberry Paper Embellishments together with the remaining Coats Crafts UK 'Creative by Nature' Sunflower Yellow 3D Mulberry Paper Embellishments at the top left hand corner of the front page. Leaving flat, allow to dry. |
