	materials required

	One piece of Rowan Kaffe Fassett Fabric Broad Stripe measuring 30 cm x 18 cm. One each of Anchor Alcazar machine embroidery thread: Green 23, 560 and 428, Brown 273 and 1008, Yellow 132, Purple 822 and 863. One Anchor Alcazar variegated machine embroidery thread: Blue 9023. One Sylko Cotton Thread: Crimson 48. Coats Crafts UK Toy Filler

	instructions

	Following your sewing machine instruction book, use the different embroidery stitches to machine embroider the six centre stripes of the fabric in the direction of the stripe. Use different embroidery stitches together with each of the Anchor Alcazar embroidery threads. With right sides together and using your sewing machine in straight stitch, together with the Sylko Cotton Thread, baste the shorter edges together. Press. With right sides together, centre the seam to the back of the cushion. Baste the top edges together. Trim corners, turn to right side and press. Fill the cushion with Coats Crafts Toy Filler. Turn in seam allowance and pin and tack the bottom edges in place. Using the Sylko Cotton Thread, slip stitch edges together all round.
