Prym Scissors

1. Start with a piece of felt for the front of your bag. Using the template, cut out the pumpkin shape. Then place in the centre of the larger felt.

2. Arrange into a pumpkin shape and glue in place.

3. Then using a simple running stitch secure the pumpkin motif.

4. Take the black felt and cut out three little black triangles for the pumpkins eyes and nose. Use template B for the mouth.

5. Attach the ‘stick on eyes’ with UHU glue.

6. Then stitch the words ‘Trick or Treat’ under your pumpkin. Use a plain running stitch.

7. Stitch some cross stitches along the top to add detail.

8. To make the cord plait cut three strands of Anchor Stranded Cotton (316)  and six strands of Patons Diploma Gold (in black) to a length of 60cm. Then plait the strands together.

9. Fix the eyelets to the top of the bag, five on both sides. Follow the instructions on the pack.

10. To finish stitch around the bag using a couching stitch.
