Katie Bedford and the Coats Crafts concession ladies from the House of Fraser in Solihull represented Coats Crafts UK in one of the recent Race for Life events.

Katie who ran to raise money for Cancer Research UK finished the course within two hours. "We picked the hottest day, but the buzz you get as you reach the end is amazing. It was all in aid of a very good cause and we would love to do it again. But next time will go into training mode before and try to run the course," says Katie.

Katie and her team have been holding instore events at the Solihull House of Fraser selling knitted and crocheted breast cancer awareness symbols made by two of her colleagues. All proceeds have gone to the Breast Cancer Care charity.
