A beautiful new eco yarn comes out this month from Rowan. What makes this different is that it is made entirely from recycled clothing.

The ultimate eco yarn is called Revive and comes in eight shades inspired by nature. The yarn is made in a unique way – discarded clothes are sorted into different fibre contents batches of silk, cotton and viscose before being shredded and spun into yarn.

The yarn comes with interesting flecks of coloured texture – if you’re anything like us you’ll be wondering what your finished jumper was in a previous life!

To support the yarn, Rowan are bringing out a new brochure The Purelife Recycled Collection which has 16 men’s and women’s designs showcasing the yarn.
