Our popular and on-trend Patons yarn Colour Works Aran has been revitalised for this Autumn / Winter with seven new colours added to the range. Colour Works Aran is perfect for the next season. Hey, where did summer go again?
In a blend of 65% acrylic and 25% new wool, this soft and warm yarn is great value and has a wonderful new pattern book full of ideas. Patons Book 3821 offers 14 new styles shot on location at Rupertswood in Australia, which cricket fans will know is ‘Home of the Ashes’. In celebration of England winning the ashes this year, top Patons designer Heather Granger (an Australian, so no hard feelings about the Ashes!) thought it would be fun to shoot this new contemporary classic collection in an elegant Oz location.
Rupertswood is where the first Cricket Match was played in 1882. Australia and the UK play every two years and attempt to regain The Ashes trophy. Rather fittingly, it was played this year in Australia – and the UK won! So, what better place to shoot Patons’ new garment and accessories than this stunning location.
Inside Patons book 3821 you’ll find this gorgeous swing coat (seen on the front cover), but you’ll also find a range of smaller accessories projects, such as berets, shawls and a rather lovely pair of convertible long length mittens.
