Love Wool UK, which aims to promote and encourage the use of British wool, begins on 5th September and sees a week-long peak of craft activities and events for The Campaign for Wool.

Rowan is delighted to be supporting The Campaign for Wool 2011 and Love Wool UK. Free knitting patterns such as these stylish cushions and this trend-setting bag will be appearing on Knit Rowan. The free patterns feature Rowan Purelife British Sheep yarns. Working alongside the British Wool Marketing Board on their Love Wool UK campaign, Rowan hopes to inspire you to discover, enjoy and use 100% wool products.

Rowan Purelife British Sheep yarns include Chunky, DK and Boucle yarns, all of which are shorn and blended from British sheep and spun into stunning and beautifully natural undyed yarns at Yorkshire Mills in the countryside not far from Rowan’s own HQ.
