Try making this lovely multi-coloured scarf created using the finest Patons knitting yarns from the Coats Crafts UK range. As featured in 'Woman's Weekly' magazine.

1 x 50g ball of Patons Diploma Gold DK in each of Lupin (06240), Plum (06245), Cyclamen (06123) and Hot Pink (06247).

No.000 (10 mm) Prym knitting needles

The scarf will measure 25cm/10 in across and 144cm/56 3/4 in long, excluding fringes.

6 stitches and 8 rows to 10 x 10 cm over pattern, using 4 strands of yarn together on No.000 (10 mm) needles.

With No.000 (10 mm) needles and 1 strand of each colour together, cast 15 sts. P1 row.

1st row: K1, [k1, winding yarn twice round needle] to end.

2nd row: [P1 dropping extra loops] to last st p1.

These 2 rows form pattern. Repeat these 2 rows 56 times more. Cast off kwise.

In each colour, cut twenty-eight 18cm/7in lengths, using 1 strand of each colour together, make and attach 14 tassels along each end for fringe. Trim fringe.
