If you’ve seen our other free Patons Serenity knitting patterns on the site (see links to the left), this is a funkier version of the others. This one is slightly cropped in length with cute cap sleeves. As with the long sleeved cardigan  this cardigan features a fabulous deep zigzag lace pattern round the edges.

This cropped and casual style is perfect for layering with t-shirts or blouses, and has a more relaxed feel.

Patons Serenity is a bamboo and cotton blend that feels really soft and slinky. Our version is knitted in Blossom, a pastel pink, but an entirely different look could be achieved with other Serenity colours. The cardigan would look brilliant in black and cheerful in cherry too.
