A hand embroidery thread, made up of 12 strands of divisible metallic threads. Two strands of Lamé are the equivalent of 1 strand of Anchor Stranded Cotton. This thread can be used to work cross stitch, black stitch, freestyle embroidery, couching or gold work or one strand can be blended with Stranded cotton to highlight chosen areas.
