Hand in hand with Amy Butler’s fabulous new fabric range Soul Blossoms come two great new patterns to inspire you to create!

The first new design is called Oval Patchy Pillow and features patterns which can be adapted to make stylish and comfy cushions which look gorgeous with Amy’s fabrics. The cushions look plump and inviting with fabric covered buttons.

The second new design from Amy Butler is The Reversible Sunday Sling, an amazingly useful bag which you can turn inside out for a different look when the mood takes you. The sling bag is big and roomy with pockets, so would be the perfect bag for shopping when you have lots to stash away, or even as a casual overnight bag.

Amy Butler’s new bag pattern and cushion patterns are photographed in fabrics from her latest collection – Soul Blossoms. This range was inspired by Amy’s trips to India, and as you can see they are a heady mix of vibrant colour and floral patterns. Sari inspired colours such as fuchsia pink, lime and cobalt blues melt into each other with exotic trailing florals and repeated motifs.

These new sewing patterns are easy to follow, even for beginners, and come with plenty of ideas to adapt the basic designs with extra details.
