If you like your garments and accessories with a rustic and wholesome appeal, make sure you try the new Rowan Tweed and Rowan Fine Tweed yarns.
New for autumn / winter 2011 these two new yarns are traditionally spun tweed yarns made in Yorkshire. Rowan Tweed is knitted on 4mm needles as a double knit yarn, and Rowan Fine Tweed is, as its name suggests, finer and knitted on 3.25mm needles. This means Rowan Fine Tweed results in lighter and slightly more fluid knits than its double knit counterpart.
The two yarn types give you a choice of 18 and 24 beautiful rustic shades. There’s everything from a natural cream (Bell Busk), a rich mustard (Leyburn), dusky pink (Hawes), to a stunning peacock feather inspired melange of emerald hued greens and blues (Wensley); plus there’s every gorgeous shade in between.
Take a look at the full shade card on the Knit Rowan website.
