Cut ribbon into 24 pieces, each measuring 20 cm in length.
Using the green felt and number template cut out numbers 1 – 24 and put to one side.

For each stocking: Using red felt and stocking template cut out 2 stocking pieces (make sure that the template is reversed for second piece so that glitter side is on the outside of both pieces) and using white felt and stocking top template cut out 1 piece using pinking shears for the side and bottom edges.

Take one stocking piece that faces to the left (glitter side facing up) and using fabric glue attach a green felt number positioning it near curve of foot, as in photo. Using manufacturers instructions attach a star and a small rhinestone near the number. Place both pieces of stocking together WS facing and using Anchor Pearl 8# stitch together with a row of Blanket stitch around shaped edge. Place stocking top around top of stocking leaving open at right hand side, sew into place using Blanket stitch and Anchor Pearl 8#. Attach a large rhinestone on curved corner of stocking top. Take a length of ribbon and make a loop, stitch open ends to inside of stocking at right hand side.

Make 24 stocking, numbering them from 1 to 24.

Take length of piping cord and knot near both ends. Divide into 10 equal sections by making a knot. Place stockings in random order onto the length of cord and hang where desired. A small gift or treat can be placed into each stocking to be enjoyed each day in the run up to Christmas.
