instructions

Fold one sheet of the red A4 card in half.  Take the second size template, which gives a 4” x 5” aperture, from the oversized oval shape templates and place this so that the centre of the template is on the fold of the card.  Draw round the inner oval with a pencil and cut out, through both thicknesses, with scissors.  Open the card out and measure from the centre of the card to the outer edge.  Lightly mark the half way point.  Do the same at the other side and also at the bottom of the card.  Lightly score between the top mark and bottom mark on each side of the card, using the embossing tool and the ruler to line up the pencil marks and fold the outer sections back towards the centre fold.

Take the green card and cut out three of the Christmas Trees from the Fiskars Christmas shape template, using the shape cutter and resting on the A4 craft mat.  Take the piece of brown card and cut out one of the Christmas Tree tubs.  Cut three lengths from the ball of Spritz and wrap one length around each of the Christmas Trees, securing on the back with sellotape.  Punch out three gold stars, using the star punch, and attach these to the tops of the trees.  Decorate each of the Christmas Trees with the buttons, sticking them down with clear PVA glue.

Take the gold Ric Rac and cut two lengths, slightly longer than the length of the red card with the aperture in.  Using the fabric glue attach a length of the Ric Rac down each edge of the card.  Trim off the excess Ric Rac once the glue is dry.  Take the circle hand punch and at the top of the aperture punch a hole.  Take a length of Spritz and thread through the hole.  Lay the card flat and take one of the Christmas Trees and place in the centre of the aperture.  Attach the length of Sprtiz to this and trim any excess.  Take one of the other Christmas Trees and attach to the first Christmas Tree using the double sided sellotape.

Take the other piece of A4 red card and fold in half.  Cut two pieces of the gold Ric Rac, slightly longer than the width of the card and attach to the top and bottom of the card with the fabric glue.  Take a smaller piece of the gold Ric Rac and attach to the middle of the brown piece of card.  Trim off the excess Ric Rac once the glue is dry.  Take the third decorated Christmas Tree and the brown tub and place in the centre of the card, attaching the tub with double sided sellotape and the Christmas Tree with double sided foam pads.

Attach the pop-out card to the inside of your card with double sided sellotape.
