1 skein Anchor Stranded Cotton, shade 102 Purple.

1 skein Anchor Stranded Cotton Multicolor, shade 1325 Iris.

15cm length Gold Zack 3mm width Satin Ribbon in White (982210)

Using template cut out 2 heart shapes.

Take one heart shape and with right side facing using Coats Ophir metallic thread, stitch at random several Double Cross Stitches keeping stitches ½ cm in from outer edge. Attach the three red buttons down centre of heart, using Anchor Stranded Cotton.

To make up, place the two heart shapes together with right sides facing. Take the length of ribbon and fold in half, pin this in position at centre top of heart shape making sure that at least 1cm is between layers. Using 2 strands of Anchor Stranded Cotton work a row of Running Stitch around edge approx ½ cm in from outer edge leaving a 3cm gap down one side. Using toy stuffing, fill decoration, but DO NOT OVERSTUFF. Close gap by continuing to work Running Stitch and fasten off.

Using template cut out 2 large hearts shapes in Red Embossed Felt. Using Pinking Shears and template cut out 1 small heart shape in White Glitter Felt.

Take the small heart shape and with right side facing attach 3 rhinestones down centre of heart (read instructions on packet on how to attach). Using photo as a guide for position, stitch, using 2 strands of Anchor Stranded Cotton the holly leaves and berries by working 2 Lazy Daisy stitches for the leaves in green and 3 French Knots for the berries in red for each group. Place the white heart in centre of red heart and using 2 strands of Anchor Stranded Cotton in red stitch in position by working a line of Running Stitch ½ cm in from outer edge of white heart.
To make up, place the two heart shapes together with right sides facing. Take the length of ribbon and fold in half, pin this in position at centre top of heart shape making sure that at least 1cm is between layers. Using 2 strands of Anchor Stranded Cotton work a row of Running Stitch around edge approx ½ cm in from outer edge leaving a 3cm gap down one side. Using toy stuffing, fill decoration, but DO NOT OVERSTUFF. Close gap by continuing to work Running Stitch and fasten off.

Using template cut out 2 star shapes.

Take one star shape and with right side facing using 2 strands of Anchor Stranded Cotton in purple working from centre of star to star point work a line of Chain Stitch finishing ½ cm in from outside edge. Repeat until you have a line of Chain Stitch in each section. Attach the button in centre of star, using Anchor Stranded Cotton. Using 2 strands Anchor Stranded Cotton Multicolor in Iris work a five petal Lazy Daisy flower in each section and attach a bead to the centre of each flower.

To make up, place the two star shapes together with right sides facing. Take the length of ribbon and fold in half, pin this in position at centre top of star shape making sure that at least 1cm is between layers. Using 2 strands of Anchor Stranded Cotton work a row of Running Stitch around edge approx ½ cm in from outer edge leaving a 3cm gap down one side. Using toy stuffing, fill decoration, but DO NOT OVERSTUFF. Close gap by continuing to work Running Stitch and fasten off.
