Using the Prym Aqua Trickmarker, trace the petal as in the Diagram provided, onto the Aquatics Romeo and then place into the hoop.
Following the instructions in the manual provided for your sewing machine, drop the feed dogs and fit a foot appropriate for free machine embroidery.
Using free machine embroidery and the White 1 Anchor Alcazar machine embroidery thread, completely fill the traced petal. Ensure all threads overlap.
Using free machine embroidery and the Pale Pink 355 Anchor Alcazar machine embroidery thread, lightly colour the petal.
Using free machine embroidery and the Lavender Pink 805 Anchor Alcazar machine embroidery thread, edge the petal.
Using free machine embroidery and the Ruby 815 Anchor Alcazar machine embroidery thread, stitch the bottom and the very edge of the petal as indicated in the diagram.
Using free machine embroidery and the Green 547 Anchor Alcazar machine embroidery thread, stitch the markings in the centre of the petal and repeat using Green 584 Anchor Alcazar machine embroidery thread.
Using free machine embroidery and the Brown 1008 Anchor Alcazar machine embroidery thread, stitch spot markings of petal.
Repeat 1 - 9 a further four times.
Trace the stamen onto the Aquatics Romeo using the Aqua Trickmarker.
Using free machine embroidery and the Cream 1026 Anchor Alcazar machine embroidery thread, stitch the stamen.
Using free machine embroidery and the Orange 122 Anchor Alcazar machine embroidery thread, stitch the end of each stamen finishing with the Brown 1008 Anchor Alcazar machine embroidery thread.
Repeat 10 - 12 a further three times.
Cut out, leaving approximately 1 cm of Aquatics Romeo, around each petal and stamen.
Place the petals together to form the lily and secure by stitching the centre using free machine embroidery and the Brown 1008 Anchor Alcazar machine embroidery thread.
Attach the stamens by folding the lily in half with wrong sides together, and placing the stamens in the centre, use free machine embroidery and the Cream 1026 Anchor Alcazar machine embroidery thread to stitch in place.
Following the manufacturers instructions, dissolve the Romeo and sculpt the lily using the Prym Extra Long Glass-headed Pins to help keep in place until dry. |
